So, What’s The Scoop?
Nora B’s Ice Cream is a privately owned company that proudly provides ice cream cart rentals for events across the Central Florida region. We offer individually packaged novelty ice cream and 3 gallon containers of scoopable ice cream for Ice Cream Sundae parties. We streamline and simplify the process of getting ice cream to your party with convenient online ordering or by phone. Simply choose the date, location and ice cream of choice and we deliver it directly to you in an already frozen ice cream cart.
Our Founder
Nora B’s was founded by Ryan Strayhorn, a Michigan native but he now calls Florida his home. Ryan also owns and operates ACP Entertainment based in Byron Center, Michigan. For over 15 years, ACP Entertainment has provided carnival rides, inflatables, games and activities to 7,000+ events across the State. ACP Entertainment is the largest entertainment provider of its type in Michigan and services over 600 events each year. Needless to say, we are no stranger to the event and service industry.
Why Ice Cream?
Well for starters, who doesn’t love ice cream? Up North, ACP rented out an ice cream cart as just one of the add on services for its events. Ice cream catering for events was so commonly requested that an idea was born. What if we put down roots in Florida by starting an entirely new company around the concept of renting out ice cream carts and filling them with customized ice cream choices?
Our Mascot
Now for the real question, who is Nora B? Nora is one of two beloved dogs belonging to Ryan and his wife. Nora is a golden doodle (minus the gold) who is full of personality and energy. “Nora B’s Ice Cream” seemed to roll off the tongue and presented a unique opportunity for an adorable mascot!
